We knew when we started working with with Elaine and her mother, Fran; that this wedding would be the epitome of elegance. They had impeccable taste in everything they selected, and always kept etiquette and grace in mind. We were honored that they trusted us to coordinate the details and bring their vision to life.
Elaine and Peter both grew up in Bronxville and stayed true to their roots with a hometown wedding. They celebrated their nuptials in style and each event was held at a different local venue. The festivities started early on Friday and went well into Sunday afternoon.
After the ladies had an early morning spin session at SoulCycle on Friday morning, Fran hosted a luncheon at her lovely home. The rehearsal dinner was held that evening at The Bronxville Field Club. Welcome drinks followed at local favorite Fogarty’s.
Saturday was a chilly but beautiful day for a wedding. After a year plus of planning, everything came together in the most spectacular way. Elaine looked stunning, and Peter had a huge smile when he first saw her that lasted the whole night. A beautiful ceremony at The Reformed Church was followed by the reception at Siwanoy Country Club. Exquisite burgundy florals and elegant taper candles popped off of blue-grey linens. Guests found their places with with personalized menu cards and enjoyed dinner before dancing the night away.
Our team coordinated everything from keeping everyone on our pre-set timeline to making sure the very last person got on a shuttle home at 1:45 am. We tied velvet ribbons at each place setting and set up an after party with balloons, signs, and snacks. We were there for the entire day to make sure things ran smoothly and looked perfect.
Despite a quick visit to Urgent Care for the father of the bride’s injured finger and an unplanned visit from the Bronxville police when the family’s home alarm went off (a funny story for another time), the wedding went very smoothly. We were there to deal with the unexpected so that our clients could enjoy their day. We also made sure they had what they DID expect, which was the best day of their lives….
